Softball To Face Maryland This Weekend In Battle Of ACC Unbeatens

ATLANTA – The No. 25/24 Georgia Tech softball team (28-6, 3-0 ACC) will travel up to College Park, Md. this weekend for a three-game series at Naryland (22-9, 2-0). The two teams will play a doubleheader Saturday and then single game on Sunday, both at 1 p.m. Listen live both days beginning at 12:55 p.m.

Despite losing at No. 2/2 Georgia on Wednesday night, the Yellow Jackets have won 21 of their last 23 games and are back in the top 25 for the first time in a month. Maryland, meanwhile, is receiving votes in both polls this week and has won 13 straight games heading into the weekend. In March 30 NCAA RPI, Georgia Tech was 15th while Maryland comes in at 18th.

Georgia Tech is 30-16 all-time against Maryland and has won the last 14 in a row in the series.
