King to Receive ACC POTY Trophies at Men’s Basketball Game on Dec. 16

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech football’s Haynes King will receive his Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year trophies on Tuesday, Dec. 16 during Tech’s men’s basketball game versus Marist at McCamish Pavilion.

A representative from the ACC will be on hand to present King with his player-of-the-year trophies during a special halftime recognition.

In honor of King’s jersey No. 10, all tickets in general seating areas for the game are available for just $10, and the first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a limited-edition Haynes King ACC Player of the Year poster.

King was named just the fourth ACC Player of the Year in Georgia Tech football history last week, joining an exclusive club that includes College Football Hall of Famers Joe Hamilton (1999) and Calvin Johnson (2006), and the Yellow Jackets’ most recent previous recipient, Jonathan Dwyer (2008).

Tipoff for the Dec. 16 game between the Yellow Jackets and Marist is set for 7:30 p.m.

POP-TARTS BOWL TICKETS

Georgia Tech ticket requests for the 2025 Pop-Tarts Bowl versus No. 12 BYU (Saturday, Dec. 27 in Orlando) are now open. Tech fans are urged to purchase their Pop-Tarts Bowl tickets from Tech athletics in order to guarantee being seated in blocks with other Georgia Tech fans and to officially document the number of Yellow Jacket fans in attendance, which is a leading factor in future postseason selections.
