Georgia Tech Alum Brings Home Piece of History

Ryan Schneider is a 1990 Georgia Tech mechanical engineering graduate and local patent attorney, but to Yellow Jacket fans he's the man that brought the Cumberland game ball back home to The Flats.

Schneider won an online auction for the historic football marking the most lopsided game in football history, a 222-0 victory by the Jackets under Coach John Heisman on October 7, 1916.

He'll present the ball to director of athletics Mike Bobinski and President Bud Peterson this Saturday during the Virginia game.
