Jackets-Noles to Kick Off at Noon on Oct. 29

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech football’s Oct. 29 game at Florida State will kick off at noon and be televised nationally on ACC Network, the Atlantic Coast Conference and its television partners announced on Monday.

Georgia Tech has won two-straight and four of its last six matchups with Florida State, including a 16-13 triumph at FSU’s Doak Campbell Stadium in the 2020 season opener (Sept. 12, 2020). The Yellow Jackets have come away with wins in each of their last two trips to Tallahassee (including a 49-44 victory in 2009). Prior to its consecutive victories at Doak Campbell Stadium, Tech was 0-6 all-time at Florida State. FSU holds a slim 14-13-1 edge in the all-time series between the teams.

Before the Yellow Jackets travel to Tallahassee, they resume action this Thursday when they host Virginia for an ESPN primetime duel. Kickoff between the Jackets (3-3, 2-1 ACC) and UVA (2-4, 0-3 ACC) is set for 7:30 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Tickets are still available and can be purchased online by clicking HERE.
