The 2011 Yellow Jacket Fan Day will take place Saturday, August 6th at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
Festivities begin at 3 p.m. on Callaway Plaza with music, prizes, inflatables and games for the kids. From 4-6 p.m. the gates will open and fans can enter the stadium to meet the 2011 Yellow Jackets. Entrance to Fan Day will be at the tunnel off Callaway Plaza, at the northwest corner of the stadium.
Rain or shine, fans can expect a fun and exciting day at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
Football players will be seated with their position groups at various points on the playing field. Head coach Paul Johnson will sign autographs from 4-5 p.m. and will be available for photographs from 5-6 p.m. Please limit autographs to ONE item per player or coach.
This will be the first opportunity to get the 2011 football poster as well as schedule cards, ticket information and other items throughout the afternoon.
Merchandise from Barnes & Noble and Tailgater’s Alley will be on sale during the event.
Parking for Saturday’s Fan Day will be available in Peters Parking Deck, the Student Center parking lot, and any legal spot not marked reserved on campus streets. On the south side of Bobby Dodd Stadium, fans will be able to park in the E-45 and E-46 lots on North Ave.
The Jackets open the 2011 season on Sept. 1 against Western Carolina. It will be a 7:30 p.m. kick-off at Bobby Dodd Stadium.
