Cross Country Heads to ACC Championships

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Georgia Tech men’s and women’s cross country squads will compete Friday at the 2015 ACC Cross Country Championships. The event will be hosted by Florida State University at Apalachee Regional Park.

“It’s going to be a great competition Friday morning in Tallahassee for the ACC Championships,” head coach Alan Drosky said. “The weather is good, the course is nice and familiar to us, and the field is loaded with outstanding programs. Our preparation has been solid, our meets leading up to this weekend have gone well and both teams are excited about the challenge. We’ll compete hard and we expect to race well.”

Georgia Tech Participants:
Men – Chris Burnett, Zane Coburn, Patrick Fleming, Alex Grady, Jeremy Greenwald, Brandon Lasater, Matt Munns, Tanner Shaw, Nahom Solomon, Austin Veith
Women – Haley Anderson, Sarah Bowles, Melissa Fairey, Erin Gant, Hailey Gollnick, Morgan Jackson, Hayley Keadey, Courtney Naser, Diana Pressel, Charlotte Stephens

When: Friday, October 30
Where: Apalachee Regional Park (Tallahassee, Fla.)
Race Times:
9 a.m. – Men’s 8k
9:45 a.m. – Women’s 6k
