Brown Named All-America

ATLANTA (November 22) — Georgia Tech tackle Chris Brown has been named a first-team all-America by the Football Writers Association of America.

Brown, a senior from Augusta, Ga., becomes the 47th first-team all-America in Georgia Tech history.

A four-year starter at left tackle, Brown is a key figure in Tech’s offense, which has averaged 549.7 yards and 39.6 points in the last five games. For the season, Tech ranks 14th in the nation in total offense, 16th in passing and 17th in scoring. The Jackets also rank second in the ACC in rushing.

Brown and Tech offensive line lead the ACC in fewest sacks allowed (16), including just two sacks allowed in the last five games.
