Aqua Jackets Set To Host Men's and Women's ACC Championships

Feb. 11, 2005

ATLANTA – The Georgia Tech men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will host the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships, beginning Feb. 16-19 (women) and ending Feb. 23-26 (men), in the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center. The meet will run preliminaries at 11 a.m. and finals starting at 7 p.m., with the exception of Wednesday of each week, running just two relays beginning at 7 p.m.

“The ACC Championships are going to be a great meet,” said head coach Seth Baron. “Being at home will bring a new and exciting element to an event that is always a main focus for our season.”

“It’s a great opportunity to compete in front of a home crowd and will offer us the greatest opportunities to advance to the NCAA Championships.”

The conference meet will be free admission and can be followed via live stats on RamblinWreck.com. For more information about the championship meet, please go to Women’s ACC Championship Page.
