Aqua Jackets Host Men's ACC Championships On Wednesday

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech will host the Men’s Atlantic Coast Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, Feb. 23-26, after hosting the Women’s ACC Championships last week. The meet will run preliminaries and finals at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. each day with the exception of Wednesday with just two relays beginning at 7 p.m.

So far this season, two Yellow Jackets swam NCAA `B’ qualifying standards heading into the ACC meet. Junior Jason Howard posted a NCAA `B’ cut time of 1:38.90 in the 200-yard freestyle against Clemson on Jan. 22. Junior All-American Sam Morgan swam a NCAA `B’ cut standard time of 4:27.32 in the 500 free at the Georgia Tech Invitational on Nov. 20.
