ACC Opener at Virginia Tech Will Air on ESPN

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech’s ACC opener Sept. 20 at Virginia Tech will kick at noon ET on ESPN. 

Georgia Tech (3-0), the only remaining undefeated team in the state of Georgia, improved to 3-0 after a 42-38 win at home over Georgia Southern – the first meeting between the schools.

Virginia Tech (2-1) leads the all-time series 8-3 and it will be the first Saturday game in the series since 2009. The last four games of the series had been played on either Thursday (2010, 2011, 2013) or Monday (2012).
